Ejercicio 2: Resolver los siguientes sistemas sumando o restando ecuaciones
a) \(\displaystyle\begin{cases}x+y=&2\\x-y=&6\\\end{cases}\)
b) \(\displaystyle\begin{cases}2x+3y=&4\\2x-3y=&4\\\end{cases}\)
c) \(\displaystyle\begin{cases}x+2y=&5\\4x+2y=&14\\\end{cases}\)
d) \(\displaystyle\begin{cases}2x-3y=&-25\\12x-3y=&75\\\end{cases}\)
Para repasar, primeramente, consultar la teoría de sistemas de ecuaciones
a) \(\displaystyle\begin{cases}x+y=&2\\x-y=&6\\\end{cases}\)
Sumando ambas ecuaciones se tiene \(2x=8\Rightarrow x=\frac 82=4\)
Por otra parte, \(x+y=2\Rightarrow 4+y=2\Rightarrow y=2-4\Rightarrow\bbox[yellow]{x=4, y=-2}\)
b) \(\displaystyle\begin{cases}2x+3y=&4\\2x-3y=&4\\\end{cases}\)
Sumando las ecuaciones se obtiene la expresión \(4x=8\Rightarrow x=\frac 84=2\)
Sustituyendo el valor obtenido en la otra ecuación, \(2x+3y=4\Rightarrow 2\cdot 2+3y=4\Rightarrow 3y=4-4\Rightarrow\bbox[yellow]{x=2, y=0}\)
c) \(\displaystyle\begin{cases}x+2y=&5\\4x+2y=&14\\\end{cases}\)
Multiplicando por \(-4\) la primera ecuación se tiene \(-4x-8y=-20\)
Sumando la segunda ecuación a esta expresión, se tiene \(-6y=-6\Rightarrow y=1\)
Sustituyendo este valor en la primera ecuación, se obtiene el resultado
\(x+2y=5\Rightarrow x+2=5\Rightarrow\bbox[yellow]{x=3, y=1}\)
d) \(\displaystyle\begin{cases}2x-3y=&-25\\12x-3y=&75\\\end{cases}\)
Sumando las dos ecuaciones se consigue que la variable \(y\) desaparezca, de esta manera se obtiene la expresión \(10x=100\Rightarrow x=\frac{100}{10}=10\)
Sustituyendo el valor obtenido en la primera ecuación, \(2\cdot 10 -3y=-25\Rightarrow 20-3y=-25\Rightarrow -3y=-45\Rightarrow\bbox[yellow]{x=10,y=15}\)
